During Dutch Design Week 2024, we designed Designing Society, an exhibition that brought together four initiatives under one roof: World Design Embassies, Maakruimte voor Mooi NL, De Publieke Ontwerppraktijk, and What if Lab. The exhibition showcased a diverse range of (mainly) social design projects within a clear and structured space. The central visual identity was inspired by the theme of societal evolution, taking the movement of dividing cells as its starting point. This visual metaphor highlights the continuous growth of social initiatives and underscores how design can contribute to the development and transformation of communities.

In partnership with Hofmeijer Dekker Ontwerpers, we developed a spatial design that provided clarity and ensured each project had its own distinct presence. Sustainability was central to the project, with rented and reusable materials, while accessibility was prioritized through tactile maps, a wheelchair-friendly layout, and carefully considered details.
